The Plenipotentiary Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, together with the Tatar Cultural Center of Moscow, begins a series of lectures “Komga Kan Kich Belan”.
On February 22, a lecture entitled “Rizaetdin Fakhretdin: life in eternity” will take place in Moscow. It is also dedicated to the International Mother Language Day.
The lecture will be read by candidate of philological sciences, head of the department of humanities at the Moscow Islamic University Farit Garayev.
In the first third of the 20th century, Rizaetdin Fahretdin became one of the most prominent theologians of the Muslim world. As an ideologue of Muslim modernization and a leading theologian, he enjoyed prestige throughout the Muslim world.
