“New Century” will shoot  the series like “Santa Barbara” in the Tatar language

The New Century TV and Radio Company  has  began searching for a plot for a family television series with a length of up to 2,000 episodes. This was announced in an interview with the IA “Tatar-inform” by  general director of the broadcasting company “New Century” Ilshat Aminov.

“We need a series of a thousand, two thousand episodes. And its  cost should be specific, and the group, which every day takes and produces a series. And this series has a principle: one series – one event, one story. As on the CTC: if you want, you show it, you want it differently. We need a Tatar-language series for our mentality. Like theirs: in the morning they are filmed, in the evening – on the air, ”said Aminov.

He noted that the series will be a classic sitcom, that is, a situational comedy, a series in the same location and with the same characters. Filming is planned to be held all year round in one apartment.

“Many authors come to me, suggesting  sitcoms. And there after all 60th years. To do this, even spoons must be 60s! This is an incredible amount of work to build this atmosphere, to find these requisites, costumes! Let’s do a series about modern life for now. When we learn to shoot, and begin to make historical, with the scenery.
