Dear friends, respected fellow countrymen!
I sincerely congratulate you all on the upcoming New Year 2025! Let us recall the passing year with its joys, successes, and the happiness it brought into our lives.
The upcoming New Year will be marked by important dates and events for our country. Our President Vladimir Putin has declared 2025 the “Year of the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of Peace and the Struggle Against Nazism.” In turn, we have remained faithful to the course set by our President: our Republic’s Rais Rustam Minnikhanov has declared 2025 as the “Year of Defenders of the Fatherland,” and the members of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars have declared it the “Year of the 80th Anniversary of “Year of the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and Peace”. May we all serve in unity toward this direction.
There is a saying among our people, “True friends are tested in bad times”. The spring of this year brought great difficulties to the residents of Orenburg and Omsk regions. However, the Tatar people did not falter. By showing our unity, we were able to collectively assist our fellow countrymen who were affected by these hardships.
The Tatar world is always active. I want to express my deep gratitude to every Tatar who has shown selflessness and effort throughout the year. The Tatar world extends beyond the borders of Tatarstan. Our fellow countrymen living in other regions of Russia and abroad recognize Tatarstan and our capital, Kazan, as the spiritual compass of our people. Therefore, I am confident that we will continue to achieve great things together, united in our efforts to fulfill our important tasks, to unite the Tatar world, and to bring our noble intentions into action.
Dear friends! May 2025 bring us health, patience, security, and joy. May our spirits remain strong, our tables plentiful, and our days peaceful. May the skies be clear, and our country calm and prosperous.
