In Nizhnevartovsk, preparations are under way for the federal holiday Sabantuy planned for 2021. To date, an organizing committee has already been created.

We remind  that this summer  Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatars Congress,  Vasil Shaykhraziev has visited  the city. He examined the alleged sites for the events.

“Nizhnevartovsk has a good promenade along the Ob river. The area is really beautiful. I hope that a mosque will be completed by the federal Sabantuy, ”said Vasil Shaykhraziev.

It is estimated that around three thousand people will visit the city during the holiday.

“There will be many guests, so the work is underway, including  training of volunteers, many of them will study the Tatar language,” said Tatyana Voronova, head of the department for social and youth policy of the city administration.
