The family comedy ” The Day  of echpochmak” is planned to be shot with the participation of famous Russian artists in the Republic of Tatarstan. In total, the project is planned to invest about 20 million rubles, 10 million of which will be allocated by  President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the rest of the money will be collected with the help of crowd-finding and sponsorship. The promotion of the film, which yet has not been filmed,  already  begun.

According to the script’s author Yuri Yuzeev, the film will be shot in Tatar, but the dubbing is planned to be done by the Russians. It’s about comedy for the whole family, the film will tell about love, dances and contest on eating  echpochmaks, which  are to  go to the world level.

The authors of the film plan to attract a number of famous Russian movie stars who will play themselves. The film will appear in theaters the following year, if it will be possible to raise funds on time.
