Opening of a choral festival “Ilham – Vdokhnoveniye (Inspiration)” took place at the house “Selet”. The festival was held for the first time, but promises to be a good musical tradition of the community “Selet”. The idea occurred to the members of the choir studio «D’ART».
The festival was held for the purpose of conservation, restoration of national musical heritage, active initiation of young people to choral singing art.
At the opening ceremony Project Manager of “Selet” Dzhavdet Suleimanov thanked all those present: “Thank you to all participants, family members, teachers, all enthusiasts, who with their emotions, their activities ennoble our space. The festival should continue, and I promise that we will make every effort to do so. ”
The festival was attended by amateur and student choirs of Republic of Tatarstan: Tatar folk choir of the Kazan
University, student choir of the Arsk Teachers College, the vocal ensemble “Suyumbike”, Kazan children’s music school №1 after P. Tchaikovsky, KSASU Academic Choir, Chamber Choir “Garmonia (Harmony)” of the Alumni Association of the University.
The honored guests of the festival were the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan , associate professor of the Kazan Conservatory Irnis Rakhimullin, as well as a professor of the Kazan Conservatory, Deserved Figure of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Valery Levanov.

The festival sounded Tatar, Jewish, Ukrainian folk songs, works by S.Saydashev, R.Yakhin, Francesco da Milano, V.Harisov, Sh. Sharifullin and other prominent composers.
