Participants in the Alif choreographic project left for  Mexico City to participate in an international contemporary dance festival. The correspondent of IA Tatar-inform was informed by the project administrator Alena Batullina.

The choreographic performance “Alif” will be shown in Mexico City on August 6. According to the project administrator, the Alif team went to Mexico with the director Tufan Imamutdinov, dancer Nurbek Batulla, musicians Almaz Askhadullin, Ruslan Gabitov, Aidar Zakirov, vocalists Tatyana Efremova, Lyaysan Bikbaeva and Ilyusa Khuzina. In Mexico, the composer of the play Elmir Nizamov will join them.

Travel expenses of the troupe were paid by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. Alena Batullina added that Nurbek Batulla from Mexico will go to Los Angeles to participate in the international festival-competition.

Earlier, the choreographic performance “Alif” became a participant in the international theater festival in Azerbaijan, as well as the Days of Russian Culture in France.

For the role in the play Alif, Nurbek Batulla was awarded the Golden Mask national theater prize. It is also expected to show the performance in the framework of the festival of modern Tatar culture Tat Cult Fest in the Kazan Kremlin.
