Plenary Session of the IX World Forum of Tatar Youth held

Today, in the B. Rameev IT Park in Kazan, the IX World Forum of Tatar Youth continued its work. The forum has brought together 335 delegates from 68 regions of Russia and 27 foreign countries.

In the morning, discussions were held in six thematic sections: modern culture, media, digitalization, history, business, education, and upbringing. Participants debated pressing issues in their respective fields, presented projects, and explored ways to develop national potential.

In the afternoon, the key event of the day took place — the plenary session, chaired by Rainur Raufovich Khasanov, Chairman of the World Forum of Tatar Youth and member of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars.

“First of all, allow me to warmly welcome you on behalf of the organizing committee and thank you for finding the opportunity to come to Kazan and take part in the forum. The IX World Forum of Tatar Youth is held among significant historical events. It is organized within the framework of Millet Czıyını, and for us it is both a great honor and a great responsibility. All 335 delegates gathered here are thinking about the future of our people,” Rainur Khasanov addressed the participants.

Afterwards, Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, delivered a welcoming speech. In his address, he described youth as the present and the future of the nation, stressing their vital role in preserving and developing the Tatar language, culture, and historical heritage.

Greetings were also extended by Timur Suleymanov, Assistant to the Rais of Tatarstan and Head of the regional branch of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth Dvizhenie Pervykh (“The Movement of the First”), as well as Aigul Sabirova, Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the plenary session, the working bodies of the forum were established: delegates elected representatives to the mandate, secretariat, counting, and editorial commissions. Members of the Forum Council were also elected. In accordance with the charter, the 50-member council unanimously re-elected Rainur Khasanov as Chairman of the World Forum of Tatar Youth. His deputies became Timerkhan Shaikhutdinov, Alina Sabitova, and Aidar Shaikhi.

Danis Shakirov congratulated the newly elected chairman and wished him success in his upcoming work.

The event concluded with an award ceremony of the World Congress of the Tatars.
