From May 17 to 19, 2024, the World Congress of the Tatars will hold the XIV All-Russian Forum of Tatar religious figures “National Identity and Religion”. The forum participants will gather to discuss important issues related to the sphere of religion.

A press conference dedicated to the Forum was held today. The program of the event was presented to journalists by Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, and Mars Tukaev, head of the Committee for Work with Tatar public organizations in the regions of Russia.

“The XIV All-Russian Forum of Tatar religious figures will be attended by 1,000 participants from 77 regions of our country. The geography of the forum is expanding every year,” Danis Shakirov said.

“The largest delegation is expected from the Republic of Bashkortostan – 112 people. This is natural, because Bashkortostan is a region where more than a million of our compatriots live,” Mars Tukaev emphasized.
