Primorye – Tatarstan: “Reading Jalil in different languages”

The results of the online readings “Reading Jalil in Different Languages,” dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the Tatar poet and Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil, have been summed up.

The poetry of the great son of the Tatar people lives on in the hearts of people of different generations. Participants in the online readings included preschool children, school students, university students, and older adults. They recited the works of Musa Jalil in Tatar, Russian, Tajik, English, and Japanese. Each participant вложил their soul into the reading, showing deep respect and reverence for the creative legacy of the great poet.

The geography of the participants is impressive. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by readers from Kazan, Bugulma, Nizhnekamsk, Kukmor, as well as the Sabinsky, Arsky, Tyulyachinsky, Baltasinsky, Pestrechinsky, and Agryz municipal districts. In Primorsky Krai, participants joined from Vladivostok, Nakhodka, and the Partizansky and Anuchinsky districts. Children from Moscow and Yaroslavl also took part. The total number of participants reached 155.

The organizers of the readings were the public organization of Tatars and Bashkirs of Primorsky Krai “Tugan Il” (“Homeland”) and the Centralized Library System of the Nakhodka City District, with the support of the “Saba Dulkynnary” TV and Radio Company.

We express our gratitude for supporting the readings to Alfia Galimzyanovna Mubarakova, Director of TRK “Saba Dulkynnary” and Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan; Anna Mikhailovna Pakhomenko, Head of the Central Children’s Library in Bugulma; the administrations and staff of kindergartens No. 4, 6, and 31 in Bugulma; Kindergarten No. 24 of combined type with Tatar language education in the Vakhitovsky District of Kazan; the management and staff of the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Culture “Centralized Library System” of the Nakhodka City District; the project coordinator Elmira Rafaelevna Khanieva; and all participants of the initiative!
