March 21-22, 2014, The Orenburg Tatar national-cultural autonomy and the Regional Centre for Education Development in the Orenburg region held an Interregional seminar of leaders and school teachers with ethno-cultural component, “Ethnocultural Education: Theory practice and prospects for Development “. The event will be held in Orenburg Oblast Universal Scientific Library named after Krupskaya. Workshop participants will visit the memorial museum complex named after Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil, a homeland of the poet – hero in the village Mustafino.
The seminar to be attended by heads and teachers from schools with ethno-cultural ( Tatar ) component of Orenburg, Ulyanovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, representatives of the Ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Orenburg region.
Seminar is held to promote sharing of experience between advanced teachers of Tatar language and literature, to discuss practical issues and models of cooperation between authorities and heads of educational institutions , as well as familiarity with new training programs subject.
Previous workshops were held to discuss the most pressing problems of schools with ethno-cultural component. Priority directions for further development and improvement for the schools.
This year we plan to discuss issues related to the implementation of training programs of Tatar language and literature in the light of the federal state educational standards. Greater emphasis is placed on the application of innovative technologies from the experience of teachers, combining the traditions and customs of the Tatar people.
