Today Kemerovo hosts the XXIII Federal Sabantuy and the III International Mining Sabantuy.

Radik Salakhov from Tatarstan became the Absolute Batyr of Sabantuy. He was given a ram, 57 thousand rubles and Lada Granta car as a gift from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan.

“The car I won today is the ninth! Thank God the game went the way I wanted. The opponents were very strong. I wish peace to our country,” Radik said.

Absolute Batyr was awarded by the head of the Leninogorsk municipal district Ryagat Khusainov and the First Deputy Governor of Kuzbass Ilya Seredyuk.

In total, more than 150 athletes from different regions of Russia took part in the competition.
