By resolution of the governor of the Ulyanovsk region, famous Tatar public figure Ramis Safin was awarded the Medal of Friendship of Peoples. He was honored with this high award for his significant contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples, fruitful activity for preserving and development of Tatar culture and national traditions in the Ulyanovsk region.

The resolution was signed on December 17, 2013.

Ramis Farukovich Safin – Bureau member of the executive committee of the World Congress of Tatars, chairman of the national- cultural autonomy of Ulyanovsk region Tatars. Worked as adviser to the governor. Currently – Head of the bureau of television ” Tatarstan – New Century ” in the Ulyanovsk region.

By the same resolution of the governor of the Ulyanovsk region, a Certificate of Merit was awarded to number of the activists of Tatar public organizations of the Ulyanovsk region.
