Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Ravil Akhmetshin took part in the opening of the exposition about Tatarstan in Antalya. It is   represented by  the Museum of Socialist Lifestyle, which has been operating in the Turkish city since May 16 of this year.

Today it is the largest Russian museum outside of Russia.

The event was also attended by Ayrat Gataullin, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkey, Ivan Stepanov, Deputy Consul of Russia in Turkey, Hero of Russia, member of the Club of Officers at the Tatarstan Embassy, ​​Marat Alykov, representatives of the Russian society and the Tatar community in Antalya and many others.

Director of the museum Rustem Valikhmetov told the guests about how the museum had been  created, conducted a tour of the two-story building.

The museum exhibits  Rustem Ziyatdinovich brought from Kazan, all of them were collected during the implementation of the Tatarstan project “Elimination of dilapidated housing”.

Visitors to the museum are  returned  by displayed items to the 70-80 years, transferred to a country that no longer exists – in the USSR.

In the Museum of Socialist Life there are several sections: The Library of Soviet Books, The Hall of the History of Soviet Cinema, The Dance Floor of the Seventies, The Hall of Musical Glory, The Happy Childhood.

In total, Rustem Valiakhmetov opened seven such museums: two in Kazan, in Elabuga, Samara, St. Petersburg, as well as in Paris and Brussels. One-time exhibitions are held in Moscow.

In the section devoted to Tatarstan, rare books by  Tatar authors, household items and clothes are presented.

Ravil Akhmetshin donated books, films published with the support of the RT Mission to Russia, as well as materials released by the Foundation for the Preservation and Development of Alfia Avzalova’s Creativity to the anniversary date of the great  lady singer. They all found their place in the museum.

Also,  recently, an exposition dedicated to the international journalist and Orientalist-Arabist Farid Seyful-Mulyukov was opened here, some of the materials of which were also given by Ravil Ahmetshin.
