From August 26 to 28, the World Congress of Tatars is holding the “Millet Czıyını” (“National Assembly”) in Kazan. The event brings together 1,000 representatives of the Tatar community from the Republic of Tatarstan, 68 regions of Russia, and 27 foreign countries.

At the moment, delegates are completing registration at their accommodation sites, after which the forum’s rich program will begin. This evening, the official opening ceremony of the “Millet Czıyını” will take place in the historic building of the Tatar State Academic Theater named after Galiaskar Kamal. Immediately after the ceremony, delegates will take part in the “Pechen Bazary” festival.
