The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan (SAM RT) has announced the start of registration for two youth-oriented courses: “Yash Kilen” (Young Bride) for women and “Yash Kiyau” (Young Groom) for men. The organizers invite participants to join the program, designed to help build strong and harmonious families in accordance with Sharia.
This time, both courses will be held in an offline format. The “Yash Kilen” course is being launched for the 13th time, while the Islamic course “Yash Kiyau” is still gaining momentum and will take place for the second time.
The programs are suitable for participants of all ages, regardless of marital status or social background. They will be equally beneficial for those planning to start a family, those already married, and parents preparing to marry off their sons or daughters in the near future.
The initiative aims to strengthen family values among Muslim youth and is dedicated to exploring marriage through the lens of Sharia and Tatar traditions. The educational program includes a wide range of knowledge based on the Qur’an, the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the teachings of Islamic scholars and righteous predecessors.
Participants, through lectures and video lessons, will learn about Tatar-Muslim traditions, the religious and legal aspects of marriage, the rights and obligations of spouses, mahr and marriage contracts, conflict resolution in the family, relationship etiquette (adab), and more. Experts such as lawyers, doctors, scholars, and other professionals will be invited as speakers.
Both men and women will gain authentic knowledge about marriage, their rights and responsibilities, and the ability to make well-informed decisions when choosing a spouse.
