On Friday, December 26, a final meeting of the organizing committee of the Interregional Cultural and Patriotic Marathon “Territory of Unity” was held at the office of the Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region.
On the eve of the New Year, the participants were welcomed by Ded Moroz (Father Frost) and Snegurochka, creating a festive atmosphere.
The meeting opened with a welcome address by Chairwoman Vinera Mukhamedzhanova. She noted that the marathon had become an important platform for interaction among young people and students, as well as for holding conferences, master classes, round tables, and educational events dedicated to outstanding figures of culture and local history, veterans of local conflicts, and participants of the Special Military Operation.
During the meeting, a plan of events aimed at the spiritual, moral, and civic-patriotic education of the younger generation was developed. The results of the year across all activities of the Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region were also summed up.
It was emphasized that the marathon created a regional platform for the development and promotion of the cultural, historical, and heroic heritage of the multinational people of the Penza Region. Participants engaged with both the past and present of Russia and gained motivation to study history, their native language and literature, as well as the lives of prominent figures of the Tatar people. Special attention was given to preserving the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the Special Military Operation, and to popularizing the works of Tatar writers and poets.
Participants shared their impressions of the projects implemented within the framework of the Interregional Cultural and Patriotic Marathon “Territory of Unity.”
The marathon strengthened young people’s motivation to study their native language, literature, and the history of their people, and also served as a platform for creative development, fostering pride in their culture and shaping civic awareness and patriotism.
We express our gratitude to the Government of the Penza Region for its grant support of the project.
