Results of the Republican olympiad in native languages and literature summed up in Sterlitamak

On January 13–14, 2026, the Republican olympiad in native languages and literature (Tatar, Mari, Chuvash, Udmurt, Mordovian) for students of grades 9-11 was held at Boarding Lyceum No. 2 in Sterlitamak. The Olympiad was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The most talented school students from across the republic gathered in Sterlitamak to take part in the Olympiad. On January 13, the written and creative rounds took place. On January 14, a ceremonial closing of the Olympiad and the award ceremony for winners and prize recipients were held.

The participants were welcomed by Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars; Ilsur Ikhsanov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Bashkortostan; and Albina Khaliullina, Head of the Department of Tatar Philology and Culture at the Ufa University of Science and Technology. Danis Fanisovich Shakirov presented commemorative gifts to the winners and prize recipients of the Tatar language Olympiad on behalf of the World Congress of the Tatars.
