January 28, the Tyumen Regional Museum named after D. Mendeleev solemnly handed an electronic copy of the manuscript of the XIX century by Tatar theologian al Abunasir Gazania al – Kursavi to Congress of Tatars of the Tyumen region, later the copy will be given to the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Abunasir al Gazania al – Kursavi – a famous Muslim educator. Science is aware of nine of his works, only two were published after his death. But there are references in the literature and other books by the scientist. Therefore, passing the copy of the manuscript will help to fill the blank spots in history and helps to restore the traditions of Tatar theological school. Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to publish the work in the Tatar, Russian and Arabic. The publication will be distributed at mosques and madrassas of Russia. This event – the first result of the cooperation within the framework of an agreement between the Spiritual Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tyumen region. Original works by Abunasir al Gazania al – Kursavi stored in the collections of the Tyumen Regional Museum, in the collection of books of a well-known Siberia philanthropist Haji Nigmatulla Kormyshakov – Seydukov. As chairman of the executive committee of Congress of Tatars of the Tyumen region Rinat Nasirov says : “It is important to maintain and make available a literary legacy that is left to us by Nigmatulla Haji Kormashakov – Seydukov. We are going just to turn not once to the Tyumen Regional Museum with a similar request. We have for 20 years used the books, works by scholars of Saudi Arabia and other scientists – theologians. Although it was admittedly that in the 19th and the 20th century the Tatar theologians have succeeded in this doctrine. We have our own very strong theological school, one of the strongest and most powerful. And it does not in any way contradicts the theological school that exists”.
We remind that in 2015 the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the Year of Tatar theologians. “During the year, we want to study the names of the imams what they had written to create and print at the end of the year a tutorial through which everyone could learn Tatar theologians who came out of our land,” – said Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Hazrat Samigullin.
