On June 10, a round table titled “Abai and the Tatar world” was held in honor of the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan.
The event was attended by Razil Zinnatullin, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and Head of the Committee on National Education, Culture, and Sports, who welcomed the guests.
Welcome speeches were also delivered by:

Radif Zamaletdinov, Director of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor;

Yerlan Iskakov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan;

Renat Valiullin, Head of the Executive Committee of the Assembly of Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Seventh Convocation.
The round table continued with presentations by Khatip Minnegaliev, Flera Saifullina, Foat Galimullin, and Alfiya Galimullina.
The event featured vibrant musical performances by the “Bayram” ensemble, including songs in Kazakh and recitations of Abai’s poetry in various languages.
