Russian Railways will link Kazan with Tashkent
October 02, 2018
From December 9, 2018, a new route will open, where direct trains will start to go weekly from Kazan to the Republic of Tatarstan from Tashkent to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Train No. 303/304 from Tashkent to Kazan will follow through the railway junction of the village Druzhinino of the Sverdlovsk region.
Last year, Kazan received an international flight to Almaty. By train on this route, passengers can get to Astana (Kazakhstan) and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).
“This opens up the possibility of reaching even a few Russian regions without a transplant,” the Russian Railways reported.
