On 20 January the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, The Minister of Construction and Housing Utilities Sector of Russia Irek Fayzullin, the Chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers of the country Vladimir Mashkov and other officials visited the new building of Tatars State Academic Theatre after Galiasgar Kamal which was put into operation today.
Upon their arrival, in the main lobby of the theatre, guests were shown a fragment of a legendary play “The Blue Shawl” written by Karim Tinchurin.
After the honorary guests signed a memorial showbill and had a family photo with the theatre group, they looked round the new building which occupies 57 thousand square meters, including four multi-functional audiences and creative shops.
The guests also attended a presentation of a coin minted by the National Bank of Russia and dedicated to 220th birthday of Kayum Nasyri and the Kosh cafeteria which specializes in national cuisine.
