Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Nizhnekamsk municipal region.

Accompanied by head of Nizhnekamsk municipal region Aydar Metshin and other officials Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening of the park reading and rest named after G. Tukai. Today, a library of the new generation has been opened in the city.

Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Nizhnekamsk on this event and noted that combination of the library and the theme park will be a good example for the whole republic.

“Here we use the most modern technology, we have invited top experts from Moscow – said Rustam Minnikhanov. – These ideas, we will implement in other regions of the republic. ” Acting President of Tatarstan noted that Nizhnekamsk – one of the most important

cities in the country and the republic, the point of economic growth. City is required to get the attention it needs, he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov wished that the new park was very lively, for schoolchildren, students and adults to come here. “For everyone here has its place”, – he said.

Mayor of Nizhnekamsk, Head of Nizhnekamsk municipal region Aidar Metshin said that the objects were discovered in the framework of the Year of parks and gardens, initiated by Rustam Minnikhanov.

Tatarstan allocated budget for the project has been allocated 64 million. Rubles, another 33 mln. Rubles. Added from the city treasury.

The park reading and rest named after G. Tukai – 3.2 hectares. However, apart from trees and lawns here for many years there was nothing. After the reconstruction the park represents a landscaped area for recreation, creation and implementation of public initiatives.
