On 28 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of the XIII All-Russia gathering of entrepreneurs of Tatar villages held at the Korston Recreation Center from 26 to 28 February with participation of more than 900 rural agribusiness entrepreneurs from 46 Russian regions.

Before the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov looked round an exhibition of manufacturers and arts and crafts, such as Halal products, jewelry, national costumes from various regions of country, as well as an exhibition of public organizations supporting soldiers of the special military operation, (SMO).

At the meeting moderated by the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaykhraziev, who is also the Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress, its participants told about farms and business projects, charity activities and shared their experience in the development of rural territories.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the participants of the forum for their attention to Tatarstan and desire to strengthen business and cultural bonds with the republic. “Our priority is to preserve our native language, national traditions and religion. Nobody will do this but us. And you are a reliable support in this work. We are very grateful to you. As entrepreneurs you employ others, help village residents and take part in improvement of your villages and settlements,” he said and in conclusion wished everyone further achievements.

In the end of the meeting the Rais of the republic handed in a number of regional awards for the contribution into the preservation and the development of spiritual, moral and cultural traditions of the Tatars and strengthening the inter-ethnic friendship and cooperation.
