On 13 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening the Museum of Education Belem (Knowledge) located on the first floor of the Institute of Philology and Cross-cultural Communications of Kazan Federal University. Its expositions are based on the collections of the Museum of Public Education of the Republic of Tatarstan (more than 5,000 storage units), which was established 1985.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “It is a landmark event today. We should raise the prestige of the teacher as they are the people who shape our future. The museum is opened in our largest teachers’ training center and when establishing it, we relied on our history, traditions, and dynasties of teachers. I congratulate you with this event.” 

Then the Rais of the republic got acquainted with the exposition of the museum and handed over a book by the Tatar writer Amirkhan Eniki and the collection of works of the classic of Russian literature Alexander Pushkin and passed the book given by the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev published to the 15th anniversary of the Regional Revival.
