President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has signed a decree on the Tatar national holiday Sabantui. Document published on the official website of the President of Tatarstan.

The edict states that in view of the proposals of local governments Sabantui Tatar folk festival in rural areas and regional centers of RT ( including the cities of national importance) will be held June 7-8, 2014. Naberezhnye Chelny Sabantuy be held on June 12 and in the capital of Tatarstan – June 21.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with local authorities is due to provide organization of the festive events in time.

Presidential edict charges local authorities, public associations , enterprises and organizations actively take part and assist in organizing and holding Sabantui in determined dates.
