On June 24, the Tatar holiday “Sabantuy-2023” will be held in Gagarin Park in Samara. Sabantuy holiday is one of the main national holidays of the Tatars. It combines a theatrical action, a sports stadium, a picnic, a concert, a festival and a fair.This year Sabantuy will be celebrated in Samara for the 34th time.

The organizer of the holiday is the regional creative public organization “Duslyk”.

There will be many different competitions, for example, running with an egg in a spoon, tug of war, lifting weights, arm wrestling. Moreover, an exhibition of Tatar cuisine dishes, trade in products and goods with national attributes, souvenirs and handicrafts will be organized.
