On June 7, 2024, the International Scientific Conference “Science and Education in the 21st Century” was held at the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute. It was organized in offline and online forms.

The plenary session was attended by Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Ataev, the rector of the institute Gurbangeldi Muhammedov, professors from Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

On behalf of Tatar scientists and local historians, Professor Albert Burkhanov greeted the conference participants. He devoted his report to the topic “Monuments of Amul and the Lebap region of Turkmenistan.” The speaker shared his research in the Amu Darya basin from 1985 to 1994. He also focused on the prospects for cooperation between Tatarstan and Turkmenistan in the scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
