On August 20th, the World Congress of Tatars welcomed the semi-finalists of the International Tatar Kyzy Contest. Almaz Khaliullin, Chairman of the Committee for Work with Tatar Youth of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, extended his greetings to the contestants.
The International “Tatar Kyzy” contest stands as a celebration of genuine beauty, talent, and national traditions. Its objective lies in preserving and nurturing the native language, customs, and culture. This is achieved through fostering a heightened interest in the historical and cultural heritage among young individuals, enriching their life experiences with fresh knowledge and abilities.
As part of the semi-final stage, a series of excursions will be organized for the contestants. They will also partake in a master class and have the opportunity to showcase their talents, including the preparation of national dishes.
The Tatar Kyzy contest remains a source of inspiration for the younger generation, uniting girls from across the globe in their pursuit of preserving and fostering Tatar traditions. The semi-final in Kazan transcends mere advancement towards the final; it provides a platform for the contestants to unveil their individuality, talents, and profound love for their native culture.
