Several thousand people gathered yesterday in the Saratov oblast for grand festivities. National holiday Sabantui symbolizes the end of spring field works. It became a kind of gratitude to all rural workers, the TV channel “Mir-24” informs.

“We’ve been here for years, I personally come for the third time, and the warmest impressions, the Saratovers give us a very heartfelt welcoming, we come with a joy here every year,” – says a resident of Bashkorstan Rishat Khamitov.

“It is right that it coincides: after the main spring field works there is such a break, such a wonderful holiday. When we get together, say respectful words to each other, the most important, juniors to seniors. It is very important that all of us together today, shoulder to shoulder to cultivate land, plow land. And most importantly, raise children, and pass these great traditions “, – governor of the Saratov oblast said.
