Showcase of science and technology arts TAT CULT LAB

From December 3rd to 9th, at one of the largest city venues – the Kazan Arena stadium – not only presentations of the participants’ works will be held, but also events from showcase partners and educational lectures from art historians, audiovisual and media artists, journalists and organizers of exhibition projects in science art and media art.
TAT CULT LAB / media art is the first regional competition of projects in various genres of technological art in Tatarstan.
Its participants, who took part in the open reception pf application, will develop new projects in the areas of media art, robotics, net.art, science art, media archeology and others that will be presented in the showcase at the Kazan Arena for several weeks.
Among the curators and speakers of the laboratory are the following: Dmitry :: VTOL :: Morozov, Natalia Fuchs, Peter Kirn, Yanina Prudenko, Antonio Dzheuz, Dmitry Bulatov, Alexey Shulgin and Dmitry Galkin.
Throughout the week, invited experts will talk about the experiences of technological art, the ethics of relationships with artificial intelligence, the problem of morphological freedom in modern art and the disappearing monopoly on creative expression.
In addition, they will appreciate the works by the participants and select the best authors who will have the opportunity to present their works on Russian and international sites at art venues.
