Siberian talents shine on the national stage

The results of the All-Russian Fine Arts Competition “Synchy,” named after the renowned sculptor Vasily Malikov, have been announced in Kazan. The competition was organized by the regional organization of Tatar women “Ak Kalfak” under the World Congress of Tatars.

Young artists aged 6 to 23 from 17 districts of Tatarstan and various regions of Russia competed for victory. The competition aims to preserve folk artistic traditions and the creative legacy of Vasily Malikov.

Among the 29 finalists were our very own stars from Siberia!

Zarif Sunarov, a talented artist and teacher from the village of Aul-Bergul (Kuibyshevsky District, Novosibirsk Region), won second place. We are proud of his outstanding achievement and the достойно way he represented our region. We wholeheartedly congratulate Zarif and wish him endless inspiration and the fulfillment of all his creative plans!

We also celebrate the success of our fellow countrywoman Sabina Gazizova, who likewise took second place and honorably represented the Tomsk Region at the competition.

Sincere congratulations to all winners and participants! Projects like this are especially important today—they unite people, preserve culture, and open the door to new talents.
