On November 24, 2024, the Tatar Arts and Crafts Club “Miras”, a non-profit organization “Tatar Community Bulgar-K”, hosted a master class “Painting on Fabric” in the Nationalities Center of the Kuban Region, located in the Municipal Cultural Institution “Cultural and Leisure Center” of the Krasnodar city administration.

For several hours, seamstresses of different ages decorated scarves with dyes in traditional Tatar designs.

Fabric is more than just clothing material: it is a canvas on which the history of humanity is imprinted. It contains the whispers of centuries, tales of traditions, culture, and creativity, manifested in each pattern. Painting on fabric is an art that has endured through the ages, weaving together legends, myths, and realities that are permanently imprinted on silk, linen, and cotton.

The event also featured a traditional tea party.
