Tatar festival “Sabantuy” in Kaliningrad

Our senior Tatar dance ensemble “Baltic Shores” spent an unforgettable day with first graders at the school festival “Sabantuy.” The children impressed everyone: there were so many kids in the class who knew the Tatar language.

The day was filled with songs and poems in Tatar performed by the schoolchildren, lively dances by the ensemble participants, and traditional games that brought everyone together.

A special warmth was added by the greeting from the chairman of the KROO “Kardashlar,” Amir Khayrullin. He addressed the children and guests in both Tatar and Russian, wishing them success in their studies and creativity: “May your hearts always remain open to your native culture!”

It’s heartening to see the younger generation carefully preserving traditions. Thank you to School No. 50 for the hospitality and for celebrating together!
