The second point of the trip of the participants of the All-Russian Forum of Tatar Journalists to Ulyanovsk was the Editorial Office of the regional Tatar newspaper “Omet.”

Here, newspaper employees familiarized journalists with their activities. The editors moved to a new building just a week ago. Today’s circulation of the newspaper is 5.5 thousand copies. It turns out once a week.

Despite the fact that there are only 3 journalists in the state, the newspaper covers the events of the entire region. Teachers, cultural workers write about the events, they are edited and placed in the newspaper.
