The annual regional contest “Tatar Kyzy” (“Tatar Girl”) once again opens its doors. This year the competition is being held for the 27th time, and applications are already being collected from across the Novosibirsk region.

For nearly three decades, the goal of the contest has remained the same — to discover and showcase the brightest, most talented and intelligent representatives of the Tatar people. This is not just a competition for a title; it is a true celebration of the soul, where beauty goes hand in hand with a deep knowledge of the native language, respect for traditions, and love for the culture of one’s ancestors.

We are pleased to announce that exciting qualifying rounds are already taking place in several districts of the region. The best participants — the finalists — will represent their hometowns on the main stage of the competition.
