“Tatar kyzy” in Europe

April 28, 2018 at the Russian Center for Science and Culture of Budapest, Hungary will host the first European talent contest for Tatar girls living in Europe “Tatar kyzy”.
The event is held within the framework of the 5-year anniversary of the International Association of Tatars of the European Union “Alliance of Tatars of Europe” (Chairman Sharipov Flyur) with the support of the governmental commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on work with compatriots abroad, Rossotrudnichestvo, Embassy of the Russian Federation in Budapest, Republic of Tatarstan.
The contest will be attended by Tatar girls living in Europe: – Austria, France, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Sweden.
The event is dedicated to the revival and development of national traditions, the preservation of customs, the native language with the aim of transferring the rich, cultural heritage of the Tatar people to the younger generation of Tatars living in European countries.
The purpose of this competition is:
-Saving of the Tatar language, increase and consolidation of interest and knowledge to the historical and cultural heritage of the Tatar people among young people and other Tatars living far beyond our historical homeland.
– Disclosure of the best qualities of a Tatar girl, a woman. Strengthening the social status of a modern woman in all the diversity of her social roles: daughters, mothers, wives, sisters, girlfriends, colleagues.
– Formation of a conscious attitude to the values of the family, familiarizing with a healthy lifestyle.
The audience will be able to get acquainted with folk traditions, customs through modern perception, revealing the diversity and unifying power of the national culture of the Tatars, strengthening and developing interethnic cooperation with the peoples of the world. And also to buy for memory Tatar souvenirs presented by the Kazan technical school of national creativity.
The competition will be decorated with the performance of the ensemble of dance “Bulgars” from Naberezhnye Chelny, the Republic of Tatarstan. Chief of the ensemble Kulakova R.K.
