Tatar youth of Ulyanovsk participates in social projects

The Tatar Youth Center (TYC) of Ulyanovsk took part in the All-Russian social project contests “Our City” and “Our Parents” conducted by the All-Russian Council of Local Self-Government, the Union of Pensioners of Russia, the ROO Culture and Law.
Competitions are open in nature and are aimed at the formation of civil society institutions, the disclosure of creative abilities of the peoples of Russia, identification, support and popularization of socially significant projects and civil initiatives. Conducting competitions involves publication of the “Book of Good Deeds”, which will contain information about all the projects and their managers who participated in the competition. The goal of the “Book of Good Deeds” is to popularize positive experience in implementing social projects and civil initiatives.
The Tatar Youth Center presents two projects: “My Family” – a contest for the best story about your family, about parents, for the best knowledge of your family tree, and “My Neighbors” – for the best performance on culture and traditions of another nationality. The goal of the projects is to revive the family institution as a basic unit of society, strengthen cultural ties between the peoples of Russia, said head of the goods and materials center Ildar Usmanov.
