Tatars of Moscow solemnly opened the new season

On September 5, a large event of the Tatar community was held at the Tatars Shtab, dedicated to the main Muslim holiday of Kurban Bairam and the beginning of the new academic year. Also, on this day, the opening of the new season of the Moscow Tatar Shtab took place, the Shtab press service reported.
In the took part more than 150 guests – aksakals, veterans of the Tatar movement, chairmen and activists of Tatar organizations, students.
The hosts of the evening were Gulnara Yarullina, coordinator of the Moscow Tatars Shtab Eldar Rakhmatullin, a graduate of MGIMO. Speakers immediately indicated that the new season of the Tatars Shtab would be saturated with numerous projects, conferences, seminars, trainings, evenings, meetings with scientists, writers and actors. Also, concerts, festivals, competitions, schools aimed at preserving and developing the Tatar language and culture are scheduled.
Anas hazrat spoke before the audience, explaining the foundations of traditional Islam and telling about the specifics of Kurban Bairam. He highly appreciated the holding of educational activities.
The guests remembered the friends of the Moscow Tatars Shtab – public figures Muhammad Minachev, Orhan Dzhemal, poet Ahmet Sattar, scholar Abdulkhan Ahtamzyan, who this year left for a different world. The event ended with the performance of the song “Tugan tel.”
