Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev is on a working trip to the Astrakhan region. Here he had a meeting with Igor Babushkin, Governor of the Astrakhan region.

Vasil Shaykhraziev thanked Igor Babushkin for his assistance in holding the All-Russian Rural Sabantuy. He emphasized that two regions have achieved good results while working in team. Speaker also noted that the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov highly appreciated Sabantuy in Astrakhan.

At the end of the official negotiations, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan awarded the Minister of Culture of Astrakhan Region Olga Prokofieva and the head of the municipal formation “Privolzhsky Municipal District of the Astrakhan Region” Dmitry Mazaev with the medal “100th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
