On March 19-20, the final stage of the First All-Russian Hafiz Quran Competition for Women was held in Grozny, organized by the “Woman in Islam” project, initiated by Khutmat Kadyrova, in collaboration with the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Chechen Republic.

As part of the competition, participants had to demonstrate their memorization of 10 Juz of the Holy Quran. We are pleased to announce that the representatives from Tatarstan performed admirably and secured two prize-winning positions: First place went to Ashurova Shoira, and Second place was awarded to Malikova Khadija.

It is worth mentioning that 23 participants from across Russia took part in the competition. Ten participants were from the Chechen Republic, while the others came from various regions of Russia, including Tatarstan, Novosibirsk, Samara, Rostov regions, Dagestan, and others.

Before the start of Ramadan, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan (DUM RT) held a qualifying round for residents of the republic to choose participants to represent Tatarstan at the federal level in Chechnya.
