The Kazakhstan Congress of Tatars and Bashkirs has sent a letter of gratitude to Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars (WCT).
In the letter, the organization expressed appreciation for the active participation of the WCT Executive Committee delegation in a series of international events held in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, from October 16 to 18, 2025.
The message highlighted that the representatives of Tatarstan honorably represented the republic and made a significant contribution to strengthening cultural and academic ties between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.
On October 16, Albert Burkhanov, a representative of the World Congress of Tatars, took part in a ceremonial assembly dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Atyrau University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov.
On October 17, he delivered a speech at the international scientific and practical conference “Dosmukhamedov Readings.” The conference brought together university leaders and scholars from Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Poland, France, as well as researchers from Astrakhan Region, Dagestan, and Kalmykia.
On October 18, the WCT delegation — consisting of Lenara Kuteeva, Albert Burkhanov, Fanil Fayzullin, Razil Kamalov, and Aigul Khayernasova — took part in a festive event at the House of Friendship, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Atyrau Regional Tatar-Bashkir Ethnocultural Association and the 25th anniversary of the “Tatulyk” Folk Choir.
In his message, Taufik Karimov, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Congress of Tatars and Bashkirs, emphasized that the visit of the delegation from Kazan was an important step in strengthening friendship and cooperation between the Kazakh and Tatar peoples, as well as between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tatarstan.
