Starting June 16, 2025, the First Stage of the XXXX Republican Festival-Celebration of Folk Art “Play, Accordion!” – “Uynagyz, Garmunnar!” will commence.

The Festival-Celebration consists of two stages:

• Stage I: June 16 – August 1, 2025 – Remote format (via video submissions);

• Stage II: August 30, 2025 – Final stage (in-person).

Location: Russian Federation, Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan.

Purpose of the Festival-Celebration

To popularize folk art, promote awareness of creative ensembles, and increase the artistic activity of amateur groups from the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation.

Objectives of the Festival-Celebration

• To identify amateur performers (accordionists) and support their engagement in the cultural and leisure life of the Republic of Tatarstan;

• To promote and develop the traditions of instrumental performance and enhance young people’s interest in musical-instrumental creativity;

• To raise the skill level of instrumental creative groups and individual performers (accordionists).
