On December 6th, a special evening was held in Izhevsk to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Regional National-Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars in the Udmurt Republic.
The event was attended by Danis Fanisovich Shakirov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, and Member of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan; Irek Ildusovich Sharipov, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and Chairman of the Committee for Relations with Branches in the Republic of Tatarstan; Alexander Andreevich Zhuravlev, Head of the Administration of the Head and Government of the Udmurt Republic; Tatiana Vitalievna Ishmatova, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Udmurt Republic; and others.
Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, greeted the participants and wished them continued success in their creative activities.
During the anniversary evening, leaders of cultural ensembles who had made significant contributions to the development of Tatar culture in Udmurtia were awarded.
The concert was organized as part of the “Days of Tatar Culture” project by the World Congress of the Tatars, implemented in various regions of Russia and abroad.
