On April 15, the Altai Sambo Center (Barnaul) hosted the III regional festival of the national sambo wrestling and koresh. The organizers and partners of sporting event were the Altai Institute for the Development of Education, Ministry of Sports of the Altai Territory, regional branch of the Koresh Federation of Russia in the Altai Territory, Sambo Federation of the Altai Territory.

This year, 120 athletes from cities and regions of the Altai Territory took part in the festival.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Festival, head of the regional branch of the Koresh Federation of Russia in the Altai Territory, Sergey Mustafin, noted the role of sambo and koresh in international sports, their special patriotic orientation.

During the Festival, the Ensemble “Duslar” of the Altai Regional Public Organization “Center of Tatar Culture “Dulkyn” (Wave) performed a popular song composition “Tugan Yak” (Native land) to the loud applause of young athletes.
