On January 29, the concert hall of the Center for Music Education “Kamerton” in Magnitogorsk features the Third International Competition of vocalists named after People’s Artist of Tatarstan Gabdulla Rakhimkulov.
Winners of the contest will be awarded: Grand – Prix, diplomas of I, II, III degree and the title of the winner of the third International Contest of Vocalists after Gabdulla Rakhimkulov, as well as diplomas and title of diplomnts. All other participants will be awarded certificates for their participation.

Gabdulla Rakhimkulov
(1926-1997 years).
Born in the village Keche Shaymorza of the Drozhzhanovsky district of the Tatar ASSR.
In 1943 he was drafted into the Red Army. In 1950,I returned home from the army and went to the city of Magnitogorsk, where, after graduating from vocational school, worked as a hole man on Mount Magntnaya. On the scenes of Magnitogorsk sounded the voice of the young Gabdulla where he was a soloist of the Tatar theater at the Palace of culture of metallurgists left bank, which was led by the poet Gamil Avzal. In 1945 his singing heard the eminent Tatar singer Rashid Vagapov, who recommended Gabdulla Rakhimkulov to choose the path of crooner and move to the city of Kazan. In the same year Gabdulla Rakhimkulov became a soloist of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the
Tatar ASSR. In 1970 a talented singer is awarded the title of Honored Artist of Tatarstan.
In 1996 – People’s Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Gabdulla Rakhimkulov became one of the brightest and most favorite singers of the Tatar people, which contributed greatly to the golden treasury of song culture of peoples of Russia.
