The creative stage of the Republican contest “Tatar Kyzy – 2026” was held at the “Saydash” cultural center

On January 29, the creative stage of the republican contest “Tatar Kyzy – 2026” (Tatar Daughter – 2026) was held at the “Saydash” Cultural Center. Here, the contestants introduced themselves, performed creative acts, and held short conversations with the jury members.

The jury included: Almaz Firdavisovich Khaliullin – Chairman of the Directorate of the International Contest “Tatar Kyzy”, Head of the Committee for Special Projects of the World Congress of Tatars; Kadria Raesovna Idrisova – Head of the Committee for Work with Public Organizations “Ak Kalfak”, mentor of the “Tatar Kyzy” contest; Rezeda Rifatovna Zainieva – playwright, screenwriter for the “Tatar Kyzy” contest; Insaf Farutovich Abdullin – TV announcer, TV host, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Contest “Tatar Kyzy”; Leisan Rifgatovna Zakirova – Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, soloist of the group “Zö-läy-lä”, music editor, vocal skills mentor; Gulnaz Shaukatovna Gatina – winner of the international contest “Tatar Kyzy – 2017”, laureate and organizer of republican and all-Russian contests.

The jury evaluated the contestants’ knowledge of the Tatar language, culture, traditions, customs, their ability to answer intellectual questions, as well as their creative performances.

As a result, 12 out of 20 semi-finalists advanced to the final.

  • Diana Novoselova – Apastovo District;

  • Gulnaz Rashitova – Agryz District;

  • Aliya Safina – Aktanysh District;

  • Rizalia Sibgatova – Laishevo District;

  • Nazira Khakimova – Atnya District.

The “Tatar Kyzy” project is implemented by the World Congress of Tatars with the aim of preserving, developing, and popularizing the Tatar language, culture, national traditions, and spiritual heritage. Unmarried girls aged 18 to 27 can participate. The final of the contest is scheduled for the end of March.
