At  the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, the grand opening of the exhibition by the young artist Roman Abdullin “On the Roads of Victory” took place. The exhibition was organized by the Permanent Mission and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The opening part of the exhibition was opened by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region Renat Valiullin. He thanked all those present and added: “The next year is very significant for all of us, in addition to the anniversary of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, we also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the TASSR. The upcoming 100th anniversary of the TASSR turns us to the origins of the formation of the republic, its heroic path and our modern statehood. Tatarstan has always been distinguished by a careful attitude to its history, culture and our ancestors. Therefore, these two upcoming anniversaries are somehow interconnected. The exhibition of Roman Abdullin is dedicated to these events, to his beloved Motherland and our history. ” At the end of his speech, Renat Valiullin handed a letter of appreciation to the author of the work for his fruitful work in preserving culture and history.

The artist’s friends, representatives of the Tatar community of the region and the granddaughter of the hero poet M. Jalil,  Lucia Musaevna took part in the exhibition, who thanked the author for such soulful paintings and wished good luck in his painstaking work.

Roman Abdullin himself thanked all those present and added: “I grew up in a family in which there are direct participants who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War or worked in the rear. I am saturated with my grandfather’s family stories about that difficult time. This is important because over time, values ​​are lost. A people who have forgotten their past have no future. ”

Abdullin Roman Faristovich was born on October 25, 1991 in the city of Yekaterinburg. Roman’s career began in 2007, when he entered the graphic design department of the Yekaterinburg Art College named after I.D. Shadr. And already in 2011 he defended his thesis, consisting of five tablets: “A catalog dedicated to the memory of A.G. Sekachev, ”which was praised by the State Certification Commission.
