On July 8, on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, Kazan will host the annual festival “Shaҗәrә bәyrame – Pedigree Day”. Guests will be able to participate in free master classes for children and adults, various entertaining interactive activities, see performances by honored artists of the Republic of Tatarstan and young performers.

The festival will begin at 17:00 near the Al-Marjani mosque in the Old Tatar settlement. The program includes acquaintance with Tatar dynasties and family traditions. From 16:00 to 18:00 for the youngest participants, a special zone “Dәү anidә kunakta – Visiting Grandma” will be organized, as well as a children’s sabantuy. The concert program will include performances by Lilia Mullagalieva, Taslima Nizami, Ruzili Safina and other artists. The festival will end with a screening of films about Tatarstan genealogies at 21:00.

The main objective of the festival is the revival and preservation of family traditions, which form an understanding of the role of the family and clan, their significance and uniqueness, the Islamic Cultural Center named after Sh. Marjani reported.
