The documentary-feature film “Ibn Fadlan” is released in wide distribution. The film, which previously received a distribution certificate from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, will now be released on cinema screens. Screenings will begin on March 2, 2023 at Cinema 5 in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Ufa and Naberezhnye Chelny.

The film “Ibn Fadlan” is based on the travel notes of the Arab diplomat Ahmed ibn Fadlan. The film alternates between documentary and staged narration. The documentary part contains interviews and expert comments.
